The Mission of Seaboard Medical Association:

The purpose of the association shall be to bring into one organization the physicians residing within the limits of the Seaboard district of Virginia and North Carolina, for the advancement of its members in the Science and Arts of Medicine and promoting of all endeavors for the relief of suffering humanity.

 Throughout its more than 100 years of existence the annual meeting of the Seaboard Medical Association has remained a forum where physicians from multiple specialties can learn from peers about a wide variety of topics. Through joint sponsorship with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, eight hours of Category 1 CME credits are available.
